What is CCBill Pay?

CCBill Pay is a safer, quicker, and easier way of completing online transactions through CCBill’s payment forms. You can use CCBill Pay to quickly make online purchases and subscriptions within CCBill’s merchant network.

Online transactions are easy when you are using CCBill Pay. Just choose CCBill Pay as your payment method at checkout, log into your account, and confirm the purchase.

Why would I need a CCBill Pay account?

CCBill Pay is an online service which enables you to make online purchases in an easy and safe way.

Some of the benefits of CCBill Pay:
  • There’s no need to fill in forms every time you make payments with CCBill’s payment forms. Log in to your account and confirm the purchase, saving precious time not having to deal with exhaustingly long credit card numbers, expiration dates, bank account numbers, and other required information.

Will using CCBill Pay incur any additional fees?

Using CCBill pay will NOT incur any additional fees. CCBill doesn’t charge a fee for opening a CCBill Pay account or for making purchases with it.

Which countries are supported by CCBill Pay?

CCBill Pay is a global online service and all countries are supported.

How do I log in to my account?

For ease of access, you can access your CCBill Pay account by browsing to https://pay.ccbill.com
To log in, enter your username (registered email address) and password, and click Log in.

How do I use my CCBill Pay account to make a purchase?

Whenever you are paying through a CCBill FlexForm, you will be able to log in to your account to complete the purchase. However, for the current release of CCBill Pay you will need to be using a payment form in English, otherwise the CCBill Pay option will be hidden and you will only be able to make a purchase as a Guest, in the traditional fill-in-the-form way.

In order to make a purchase with CCBill Pay:
  1. Click on the Purchase with CCBill Pay button, and enter your email and password.
  2. Click Log in.
  3. Optionally, you can change your payment method and currency.
  4. Complete your purchase.

Can I make purchases with CCBill Pay over a mobile phone?

Of course, you are able to make purchases over smartphones just like you would over a computer. Just enter your credentials and confirm the purchase.

I don’t see the CCBill Pay option. Why?

There are several scenarios in which this may occur:
  1. The merchant is not using FlexForms.
  2. Form language is not set to English.
  3. Your selected payment method is not a payment card.

I’m unable to log in to my CCBill Pay account or to successfully make a purchase using it. What should I do?

If you are experiencing any issues with your CCBill Pay account, you should:
  • Check your credentials; are you using the correct email address and password? If you are unable to recall your password, click the ‘’Forgot Password?’’ link, and follow the instructions.
  • If you can enter your account, but are experiencing difficulties in completing a purchase, you should check your email for details.
If you still have any concerns, contact your credit card issuer or CCBill Consumer Support.

Can I change the email address for my CCBill Pay account?

In the current release of CCBill Pay, you will not be able to change the email address. If you need a CCBill Pay account with a different email address, you have to create a separate account and add your payment methods to the new account.

 Transaction History/Subscription Information

Your transaction history/subscription information is not transferable to another CCBill Pay account.

How do I enroll?

Whenever you are paying through a CCBill FlexForm you will be offered the opportunity to sign up. The current release of CCBill Pay only supports English. If you select any other language, the CCBill Pay option will be hidden.

In order to enroll, click on the Create CCBill Pay button or check the Create a CCBill Pay to store your payment information! It’s fast, easy and secure! check box. You are required to enter a unique email address which will serve as your CCBill Pay account Username. Complete the purchase like you usually would and a CCBill Pay account will automatically be created for you, while the payment method you used will be stored on your account if the transaction was approved.

 Activate Your Account

You will need to activate your CCBill Pay account in order to conduct any additional transactions.

How do I activate my account?

Once your account is created you will receive an Account Activation★ email. In it you will find the Activate Now button. After clicking it, you will be redirected to the Account Activation page where you will be asked to submit a password. After submitting a password, your CCBill Pay account will be ready for use.

★The activation link in the email will remain active for 90 days. If you do not activate your account during these 90 days, the link and your CCBill Pay account will expire.

How will I know for sure whether my account has been activated?

Once you have submitted a password for your account, the activation process will be completed. You will receive a Welcome Email, notifying you that your account has indeed been activated.

Is my CCBill Pay account created regardless of the transaction outcome?

Yes, even if your transaction is declined your CCBill Pay account will be created. However, the payment method will not be stored on your account; payment methods are only stored if the transaction is approved.

Can I have more than one CCBill Pay account?

No more than one CCBill Pay account (active or closed) can use the same email address.

What if I want to change my password?

If you believe that your password has been compromised, or if you just wish to change it, log in to your CCBill Pay account and click on the Password Change tab. Enter your current password, and a new password (twice), and click Update to confirm your changes.

You will receive a security email notifying you that your CCBill Pay password was updated.

What if I forget my CCBill Pay password?

If you ever forget your password, click the Forgot Password? link under the Log in button. You will be redirected to the Password Reset page where you will need to enter your registered email address and click the Click to Reset your Password button.

CCBill will send you an email. Please follow the instructions in the email to complete the request.

Do I have to use CCBill Pay?

When you create a CCBill Pay account you are by no means obligated to make all future CCBill transactions through it. You can always opt to Pay as Guest, that is, pay in the traditional fill-in-the-form way.

I didn’t receive the product I ordered from a CCBill Merchant. What should I do?

If you didn't receive the product you were charged for, look up the merchant’s contact information, and forward any inquires to them. Merchants are the ones who are responsible for safe shipping of products.
If you are unable to find the merchant’s information, contact CCBill Consumer support.

I was charged for something I didn’t buy. What should I do?

If you believe that you were charged for something you didn’t buy, you should immediately contact Consumer Support for assistance.

How do I close my account?

If you need to close your account, contact Consumer Support.

How do I make a purchase with CCBill Pay?

Whenever you are making a purchase through a CCBill secure payment form, you can pay by simply choosing the Purchase with CCBill Pay option. Enter your credentials to log in to your account and confirm the purchase.

Prior to completing a purchase, you can manually select your payment method if you do not wish to use your default method. You can change the default currency as well, and edit or add a new payment method.

What type of payment methods can I store on my account, and how many?

CCBill Pay supports credit cards and ACH Online Checks. All currencies and all countries are supported for credit cards.

You may store up to 25 payment methods on your account with up to three different ACH accounts.

Will I have a default payment method?

Yes, your initial payment method will automatically be set as your default payment method. However, you can change your Default Payment Method at any time by logging in to your account, and choosing the Payment Methods tab. Here you can modify your payment methods, and choose a new default payment method by clicking Make Default.

For your security, any time you assign a new default payment method, you will receive an email notification from CCBill.

How do I add a payment method?

Here is what you need to do:

  1. Log in to your CCBill Pay account.
  2. Open the Payment Methods tab.
  3. Click the Add a New Payment Method link.
  4. Enter the appropriate information.
  5. Click Save to store the new payment method.


Make this your Default Payment Method by checking the Make Default check box.

Alternatively, you can add a payment method on a CCBill FlexForm while conducting a transaction, as long as you are logged in to your CCBill Pay account. If the transaction is approved, the payment method will be stored.

For your security, you will receive a Payment Method Added email notification any time you add a new payment method.

How can I delete a payment method?

To delete a payment method:

  1. Log in to your CCBill Pay account.
  2. Open the Payment Methods tab.
  3. Click Remove next to the payment method you wish to delete.
  4. Click Remove it to confirm your choice.

Can I delete a payment method if it’s tied to a subscription?

You are not able to delete a payment method which is tied to a subscription, and if you attempt to do so, you will receive a notification that your attempt was unsuccessful.

Before deleting the payment method you must select a new one for any subscription that it is assigned to. Note that you cannot change the payment method for active subscriptions tied to an ACH account.

Can I edit my payment methods?

You can edit your saved payment methods that have been a part of at least one successful transaction.
You may alternately update your payment method information by using it for a new transaction with a CCBill merchant. If you use an existing credit/debit card, our system will recognize it and update it for you if the transaction is successful.

Can one single payment method be added to several CCBill Pay accounts?

Of course, you are able to store one unique payment method on several CCBill Pay accounts. Note that ACH accounts need to be verified before you can add them to different CCBill Pay accounts.

What if my default payment method is not accepted?

If your default payment method is declined, you will have to select a different default payment.

Can I set a default currency?

Yes. You can set the currency manually when making a payment or you can log in to your CCBill Pay account and open the Settings tab. There you will find the option to set your default currency.


The All Transactions page always shows the currency you paid in.

What is ACH?

ACH stands for Automated Clearing House. It is a batch processing network in which financial institutions accrue ACH transactions throughout the day for later batch processing. It is only available in the United States and is entirely electronic, thus making it quicker, safer, and easier.

How do I add ACH as a payment method?

Adding an ACH account as a payment option is similar to adding a credit card:
  • Log in to your CCBill Pay account.
  • Open the Payment Options tab.
  • Click the Add a New Payment Option button.
  • Select Bank Account from the Select Option dropdown.
  • Fill in the fields with appropriate information.
  • Click Save to store the new payment method.
Tip: Make this your Default Payment Method by checking the Make Default check box.

Note: you will receive an email notification to verify your bank account. Please complete the steps in order to use your ACH account to make purchases with CCBill Pay.

How do I verify my ACH account in CCBill Pay?

Once you save your bank account information through a FlexForm or CCBill Pay admin, you will receive an email to verify your new payment method. Using the ACH account verification we also confirm that the link between your bank account and the CCBill system functions as intended.

CCBill makes two (2) small deposits to your bank account. You need to enter the two amounts (in cents) in the CCBill Pay so we can verify you are the owner of the bank account in question.

To verify your bank account:

  • Check your bank account for the two small separate deposit amounts from CCBill.
  • Open the email from CCBill with a subject CCBill Pay - Bank Account Verification Required.
  • Click Verify Now and you will be taken to the CCBill Pay admin to enter the two separate deposit amounts from CCBill you located on your bank account.
  • Enter numerical values only without any decimals.
  • Click Submit Amounts.

The system will show This Account is Verified and send you an email notification. Your bank account is now verified and ready to be used with CCBill Pay.

I did not receive an email to verify my ACH account, what should I do.

If you cannot find an email for bank account verification, you can log in to CCBill Pay and verify your bank account from the Payment Options screen. Simply follow the steps listed above to successfully verify your bank account.

Is my ACH bank account stored as a payment option in CCBill Pay regardless of the transaction outcome?

No, CCBill will not store your bank account information in CCBill Pay if a transaction fails for some reason. ACH account information is only stored if the transaction is successful.

Is the initial ACH transaction going to fail if the bank account is not verified immediately?

If you go through adding a bank account to CCBill Pay as you are checking out, the initial transaction is not going to fail if the bank account is not verified immediately. Please complete the verification process as soon as you complete your purchase.

How will I know for sure that I verified my ACH bank account?

Whenever you successfully complete bank account verification, you will receive an email stating that a payment option has been added to your account and that it is available for use. In addition to that, you can log in to CCBill Pay and check the status of your bank account in the Payment Options section.

Is there a time limit for ACH account verification?

You need to verify your bank account within (4) business days using the two deposits CCBill made to your account.

Are there any reminders if I forget to verify my ACH account?

There are three (3) email notifications as follow-up reminders. When you log in to CCBill Pay Admin and go to the Payment Options section, the system also warns you if an account is not activated:

Additionally, if you try to use an unverified ACH account on a FlexForm as a payment method, you will get the same message for the account in question.

I logged in with CCBill Pay but I cannot use my ACH account to make a purchase, why?

Only verified existing ACH accounts can be used to make a purchase. If your account shows the message This account is Not Verified then you need to go through the steps to verify it.

How long does it take to see the ACH verification deposits on my bank account statement?

You should see the deposits on your bank account immediately. This may vary from bank to bank, but should not take longer than a few moments.

I did not receive a deposit for ACH account verification, what should I do?

If you did not see the deposits on your bank account or have any other issues with your CCBill Pay account, please contact CCBill Consumer Support for assistance.

Can I change ACH bank account information once it is stored in CCBill Pay?

Yes, you can edit ACH account information within the CCBill Pay Admin:
  • Log in to your CCBill Pay account.
  • Open the Payment Options tab.
  • Click Edit next to the payment method you wish to edit.
  • Enter the updated information.
  • Click Save.

You will receive a notification that a payment option has been modified.

Can I change from ACH to another payment method for active subscriptions?

At the moment, it is not possible to change from ACH to another payment method for active subscriptions tied to an ACH account. CCBill is working to implement this feature in the upcoming releases of CCBill Pay.

How do I make a purchase using an ACH account in CCBill Pay?

Whenever you are making a purchase through a CCBill secure payment form, you can pay by choosing the Pay with CCBill Pay option. To complete the purchase and add an ACH account:

  • Select Pay with CCBill Pay on the FlexForm.
  • Enter your credentials to log in.
  • Select Add a New Option.
  • Select Bank.
  • Fill in the fields for Billing Contact, Billing Address and the bank account information in the Payment Options section.
  • Click Save & Place your order.
Please follow the steps from the email to verify your bank account once you complete the transaction.
To use the same ACH account for future purchases with CCBill Pay, simply log in to CCBill Pay on the form and select the bank account from the dropdown.
Note that you need to verify your bank account in order to make new purchases with the existing ACH accounts.

How many ACH accounts can I add in my CCBill Pay account?

You can add a maximum of three (3) ACH accounts within a single CCBill Pay Account.

Can I add a single ACH account to several CCBill Pay accounts?

You can add one ACH account to multiple CCBill Pay accounts only if you verified the bank account within your first CCBill Pay account.

Can I cancel a subscription using my CCBill Pay account?

Yes. All you need to do is:

  1. Log in to your CCBill Pay account and open the Subscriptions tab.
  2. Click on the subscription you wish to cancel.
  3. Click the Cancel Subscription link.
  4. Select a cancelation reason from the drop-down menu and click Cancel Subscription to confirm your choice.

Alternatively, you can cancel a subscription by filling out a request at www.support.ccbill.com.

Can I change a subscription payment method?

Of course. You can always select another payment method that will be tied to a subscription. All you need to do is:

  1. Log in to your CCBill Pay account.
  2. Open the Subscriptions page.
  3. Select a subscription from the list.
  4. Under the CCBill Pay Option click Change.
  5. Select a payment method from the Accepted Methods list or click Add a new method if you wish to use a completely new payment method for that particular subscription.
  6. Click Save to confirm you choice.

Your new payment method will be charged on the next billing date after you have updated it.

Can I review my transactions?

By logging into you CCBill Pay account you will be able to review your CCBill Pay transaction history. Just open the All Transactions tab to view any purchase conducted via CCBill Pay, including subscriptions, trials, chargebacks, etc.


Transactions may take up to an hour before appearing on the All Transactions page.

What information will I have on my past transactions?

The All Transactions page displays the exact time of transaction, the website that the transaction is tied to, and the amount and type of transaction.

Use the three (3) filters above the list of transactions to refine your search.

What are chargebacks?

When an account holder files a chargeback with their credit card issuer, it means that they are disputing a financial transaction.

Reasons why you might file a chargeback vary. You might dispute that you made the transaction, or authorized the payment, were charged more than once for your purchase, or you didn’t receive the item/service that you paid for.

Will I receive an email notification when I make a transaction?

For your security, you will be notified every time you make a transaction. You will either receive a Transaction Approved or Transaction Declined email, depending on the outcome of your purchase.

In the case of a declined transaction, you will be notified via email about the reason for decline.

I have received a time out notice in my CCBill Pay account. Why, and how can I log in to my account again?

If you remain inactive for one hour after logging in to your account, your session will time out and you will receive a Time Out notice. Re-enter your password to log in to your account again.

Will my personal details stay private?

Why was my CCBill Pay account closed?

CCBill retains the right to close your CCBill Pay account if we notice any irregularities. This is only done for security reasons, and only if we identify fraudulent behavior, such as somebody abusing your account.

Can I reactivate a closed account?

If you believe that your account was closed without any valid reason, contact CCBill.

You may always open a new CCBill Pay account under another email address, however, any payment methods that had been stored on your previous account will not be available for future use in CCBill Pay.

How can I report potential frauds?

Any potentially fraudulent behavior should be reported to the Federal Trade Commission or CCBill Consumer Support.

What if my mobile phone gets lost or stolen?

If your mobile phone with your CCBill Pay credentials gets lost or stolen, you should immediately access your account from any other device or browser, and change your password. You may also want to contact your mobile service provider for other options they may have to help you.

Is 3DS 2.0 authentication required when adding a payment method in CCBill Pay?

If you are adding an EU-issued payment method, then yes. All EU cardholders are required to authorize the addition of a payment card to their CCBill Pay accounts.

I have authenticated my card in CCBill Pay. Will I need to authenticate every subsequent transaction using CCBill Pay?

Once you pass the authentication while adding your payment option in CCBill Pay admin, you will no longer need to repeat the steps for that particular payment option. We will save your card details and necessary information to provide an uninterrupted checkout experience for future transactions.

I am trying to add a payment option in CCBill Pay and I get an "unable to authenticate" error message?

EU cardholders need to authenticate every payment option in CCBill Pay. When there is an issue with authenticating your payment method, there will be an Add Payment Option Error message as seen in the image below.

If I edit information for an existing EU payment method in CCBill Pay, will I need to complete the 3DS 2.0 authentication?

When you edit a payment method previously used with CCBill Pay, you will not be prompted for additional authentication.
