Getting Started with CCBill Global Billing Services


Merchants can start accepting payments from consumers worldwide in a matter of days through CCBill's online application. Whether your business is located in the United States, Canada, European Union, United Kingdom or elsewhere, applying for CCBill payment processing is just a few steps away.

STEP 1: Here's what you need to start
Before you begin, there are a few things you will want to have available:
  • Company or sole-proprietor information
  • If you want to accept Visa or MasterCard transactions, you need to have a U.S., Canadian, EU, or U.K. presence*
  • Two forms of identification (ID)**
  • The URL for the website on which you want to accept payments
  • The address or bank to which you would like funds delivered weekly

  • *If you want to accept Visa or MasterCard transactions, you need to provide a business location or street address in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom or the European Union.
    **Accepted forms of ID vary depending on your business's geographic region. Click here for a list of IDs for your region.

Visa Sponsored Merchant

United States, Canada, European Union and United Kingdom


CCBill is a participant in the Visa Sponsored Merchant Program.

In order for CCBill to process Visa transactions, you as the merchant must have a presence in a country that is within a Visa-designated region. As part of the application process, we ask that you provide valid proof that you have a street address in a country that falls within one of the Visa regions.

U.S. and Canadian Merchants ONLY

If your website contains what Visa considers high-risk material (selling downloadable, digital merchandise and/or services falling within Merchant Category Codes 5962, 5966, 5967, 7995) and you are registering from the United States or Canada, Visa assesses a $500 up-front registration fee and $500 annual renewal fee in order to process Visa transactions. This fee is only required for Visa and only required for U.S. and Canadian businesses and sole-proprietors.

You will be able to accept all other payment options (except MasterCard) if you choose not to pay this fee. Visa approval can take between seven and 21 business days from the time your account is fully active and CCBill has received payment of your initial Visa registration fee.

MasterCard Payment facilitator

CCBill is a participant in the MasterCard Payment Facilitator Program.

In order for CCBill to process MasterCard transactions, you as the merchant must have a presence in a country that is within a MasterCard-designated region. As part of the application process, we ask that you provide valid proof that you have a street address in a country that falls within one of the MasterCard regions.

Merchants in All Regions

If your website contains what Visa considers high-risk material (selling downloadable, digital merchandise and/or services falling within Merchant Category Codes 5967, 7841, 7994, 7995) and you are registering from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or a MasterCard European Region country, MasterCard assesses a $500 up-front registration fee and $500 annual renewal fee in order to process MasterCard transactions. This fee is only required for MasterCard.

You will be able to accept all other payment options (except Visa) if you choose not to pay this fee. MasterCard approval can take between two and seven business days from the time your account is fully active and CCBill has received payment of your initial MasterCard registration fee.
